I was on the News

So at my work we are in the process of readdressing the entire county, right now thats a little over 10,000 addresses. yesterday we mailed out the notifications for the first pghase of the readdressing which consists of all common named roads. early next year we will be doing phase 2 which is all of the grid named roads. Channel 8 news did a story on it and interviewed me about the project. follow the link to see the story. http://www.localnews8.com/global/story.asp?s=9015219

Cookie Monster

So the other day i was outside talking to our neighbor and Alli was in the kitchen. we have the living room baby proofed, so we will occasionally leave Isaac in there for a minute or two if we need two. Well, when i came back inside Alli was jumping over our kiddie gate asking if Isaac was eating plastic. i looked down and there was plastic wrap on the floor next to him, but in his hands were the remains of Alli's chocolate chocolate chip cookie. the little guy had unwrapped the cookie and proceeded to eat it. he had cookie all around his mouth and it was so cute that we let keep on going. i just love that he knew to unwrap it and then eat it. to bad we didn't get a photo.

I'm Published

So on my birthday i walk into my office and I notice a newspaper sitting on my desk. It was a copy of the Jackson Hole News and it was opened to the page you see here. It is a map I made for a reporter and it is PUBLISHED!!! It might not seem like much, but this is a pretty big deal. it depicts the subdivision and Planned Unit Developments of the county in both the recorded and preliminary stages. I'm quite proud of it!!!!

All Alone

A few days ago I shipped off Alli and Isaac for 10 days of fun in the sun with her family in LA. What this means for me is that i'm all alone. Our good friends who lived upstairs and right next door moved to Lubbock, TX yesterday. Thank goodness the Hobleys and Searcys are still in town or I'd go nuts. I do have a little project that i'm working on for Alli as a late anniversary present. for thise who didn't know, we celebrated our 4th anniversary just a few weeks ago and life is great. so for now that is it, talk to ya later!!!

Still Getting the Hang of this

So allison and I really just rely on our facebook acct's to keep in touch with people but i guess blogging is the real deal. At least that is what my boss tells me. This past weekend we found ourselves in Utah to visit my parents who were town making a wedding cake for a family member. that was about it, Fathers Day was fun because it was my first official one as a father!!!! WOOHOO!!!!! I saac is getting real big. he does this little scoot thing that our neighbor referred to as the baby sea turtle trying to make it back to the ocean. he has two teeth now with more on the way and is a boy in every sense of the word. Little trouble maker. Ok, as i get better at this we'll try and let everyone know. Love you all!!!
